the idea behind this dress was for it to look like the one lorraine wears to the enchantment under the sea dance in “back to the future.” it didn’t end up working out as i planned, because the dress in the movie has a top layer with a descending hemline from front to back. i also meant to add a collar to the top of the dress, but i ended up running out of time before the prom. in the end, it didn’t turn out so bad, and i like it now, even though i think i’m going to cut it short into a more casual dress. (sorry the pictures aren’t better. i’m hoping i’ll run across the good ones soon)
