Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This pattern combines a skirt from Burda pattern 7494 with my trusty self-drafted bodice.
I thought a more fitted skirt would make this super girly look a little more grown up.
If you haven’t already try adding a new skirt to your favorite bodice pattern give it a go. Its so easy and fun.
This is my third and last time using fabric with this print.
The bodice is fully lined with white cotton voile, an invisible side zip, and the dress has an invisible hem (done on my beloved Bernina machine).
I wish I underlined the skirt to make it more sturdy.
Material Notes
$3 per meter floral quilting fabric from spotlight, Gutternman polyester thread, invisible zipper, white cotton voile (for lining), Burda pattern 7494, self-drafted bodice

Looks perfect for summer! I would recomend for your skin type perhaps a bit more stronger colour, something purple on red would look amazing. Hope ypu dont get it the wrong way :)

I am not offended I agree with you. Like I was saying in my blog this pink is not ideal on me because I am so pale.
