Pink Alison Bathing Suit!!!

Added Jul 5, 2011

by amberlove

South Ogden, Uta...

based on Burdastyle’s Alison! I omitted the back ties, made the leg openings higher and lengthened the halter ties. I also didn’t use a tab on the front, instead I hand stitched the gathers in. I also upcycled an old bra for the padding.

This is my first swimsuit, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I also underlined the entire front—using the same pattern piece, just cut in 1/2 inch on each side for…extra skinniness?

If you want to hear me blather on there is more information etc…

I lined the entire front piece. I actually made it 1/2 an inch smaller cross-wise. I also lined the crotch.
