Size 12 (30-25-33) dress from 1953 pattern (Advance 5475) that I bought on Etsy. Advance patterns came pre-cut to size to “save time and save fabric.” Since I’m a beginning seamstress, I took quite a bit of time on this project, but it was really a joy to explore all the different techniques required (and it feels even better to finally wear it). This will be my Easter dress!
Also, my cat was just curious. I’m a little biased in favor of that picture.
Pink rose cotton print I purchased at Wal-Mart (also used as interfacing for collar and buttonhole strip) and 5 one-inch (2-hole) buttons.
Try out menswear inspired wardrobe staples, like unconventional jackets and high waisted pants.
