I had seen quite a few statement necklaces on fashion blogs , and a particular tutorial on how to make this style of pin wheel flowers . I wanted to have a real Cath Kidston colour scheme so kept to pastel shades . Once I had got the hang of the technique , I had real fun making each individual flower . Its a very calming repetitive process ,cutting each piece of fabric , folding it , pressing with the iron and glueing together . So a nice thing to do if you have a spare afternoon . If you are wanting more info on how to make this , please leave a comment and il be happy to pass on this technique :-)
various small pieces of fabric , either spray starch or if you havnt got that I found using mounting spray worked well, an iron, thread and needle , mini glue gun , sheet of felt , ribbon or necklace chain , pearl beads if so desired
