Burda Style For people who sew

A friend of mine asked me to make her a couple of vintage inspired, pin-up style dresses.

The first photo was inspired by Nette’s super-fun photos! Hope she doesn’t mind too much :)
Her Photoshop skills are clearly much much better than my own!
UPDATE My friend sent me some photos of her in the dresses while on vacation in Texas!

La Latina: Rayon-polyester, cotton, and red ponti de roma; Marine Pin-Up: satin, cotton voile, and navy stretch twill

Oh, both versions are lovely! :) I just found your link to my photo version! Thank you for liking my photo skills, but actually, I am totally unprofessional! I will tell you a secret…I just used the smear funktion on the whole background until the coloring was similar and there was no division left in the middel! I guess, all photoshop pros would laugh at me for that! ;)

Thanks everyone! Yes, I also prefer the Marine dress, but I think the La Latina will look even better once I fit the skirt to my friend. They were fun to make, and now I want some for my own!
