For my halloween costume (Airforce Pinup Model) I needed a skirt that was high waisted and grey. I couldn’t find any but then a fabric store opened up and found fabric. I got the crazy idea that i could make myself one in an afternoon. And to my surprise i did. And it didn’t turn out to bad. I have a button for fasinting and made a lot of darts to take it in. My biggest problem was how to solve the fact that my hips are bigger then my waist, so i had to make it big enough to fit over my hips, and yet small enough to fit my waist. To my dismay the fabric stretched so, i ended up pining the waist so it would stay up higher. I love the overall look of it though, and am rather proud of myself.
Tea, and some chocolate were needed to finish this. Other then that i don't know what kind of blend the skirt is made of, but i didn't use that much thread.
