Description

Dress shirt made from a Merchant and Mills pattern, featuring a large front bib, edge stitching and a curved shirt hem. Really fun to sew.

I used a bluey/brown linen with a narrow blue pin stripe running through it, reminiscent of mens’ city suits.

blogged.

gosh, that dress is just brilliant! thanks for including the pattern, I went straightaway on the Merchant & Mills site and out in a order. Any more awesome patterns from the UK? (I did not know this brand before you posted it)

Hi there lillybeeandpaul. Thanks so much for the compliment. I don’t actually know of any other UK patterns but you’ve definitely planted a seed in my mind!
Best of luck with your M&M sewing, I’m sure you’ll love doing it .. I hope you’ll post it on Burda when you’ve made it up, and let me know so I can check it out! :)
