Description

This is my absolute very first sewing project; I tried to make Alison Dahl’s Pillowcase to Nightie with No Pattern from the Blog for my my daughter, but the result was not was I was hoping for – but it was my first try at actually making something, and my daughter swears she loves it. Now I just need to find out where she learned to pose for pictures like that, it’s creepy.
I’m only posting my failure, as I’m hopeful that I will make progress and be able to post a success eventually. :)

Material Notes

Ikea pillowcase.

What a little model you have! You can’t tell any imperfections in the garment when you have a professional model working for you. So very cute!

And what a poser she is!!! I am still learning too. I figure if I keep persisting eventually I will have to get good!!! In the meantime, I find it fun. I reckon that kids are the best people to make things for, mine tell me that it is the best thing in the world regardless of whether or not it falls apart the first time they wear it!
