This gorgeous dress was made in the style of the pillowcase dress in that it uses ribbons and a drawstring neckline. There the similarities stop. Instead of using the standard pillowcase measurements, I tailored it a little bit making it more a normal dress shape with the more narrow bodice area and a slightly flared skirt, also it is completely lined and there are no raw edges visible whatsoever.
