This gorgeous dress was made in the style of the pillowcase dress in that it uses ribbons and a drawstring neckline. There the similarities stop. Instead of using the standard pillowcase measurements, I tailored it a little bit making it more a normal dress shape with the more narrow bodice area and a slightly flared skirt, also it is completely lined and there are no raw edges visible whatsoever.
Cotton fabric exterior, cotton fabric lining, ribbon, thread
Me! I’ve been working on the design I can be proud of for a while and it’s finally complete.
