Mini needed some new pyjamas as it’s started getting really hot around here, especially at night. So I decided to go to my stash and get sewing! The shorts are made from a vintage cotton pillowcase which belonged to my Granny. I shortened a PJ pants pattern which I was given a few years back and have successfully used before for long pants (Vintage Butterick) and the top is a suncream stained vest top to which I added a ruffle using some of the leftover pillowcase to make it a set. I think they’re cute and much nicer than the licensed rubbish available in the shops. They took less than an hour too! I have another of these pillowcases so may make a nightie too. Free sleepwear! Works for me!
