One thing I recently learned is, although the sewing machine can go very fast, that is not the only speed it’s capable of. I’ve broken a lot less needles by easing up on my foot peddle..and try not to sew over pins..
Thank you for telling me what the pattern is, I’ll be looking for it very soon.
Again, good luck! You can do it! Just follow instructions for the basics and use your creative mind for the rest. :-) and take breaks when you feel frustrated.
I learned recently also, that if you baste stitch your seams (or even roughly hand stitch the seams) to make sure everything fits together right , you can go back and stay stitch them when you like what you see. Saves a lot of seem ripping.

Hey thanks for the advice! I’m definitely going to be taking it slow from now on, :D
And that idea about hand-sewing it first sounds pretty good too, I’m definitely going to be taking advantage of that in the future!
Thanks so much! i’ll update on here once I figure out how to use this thing for sure lol.

What a great idea!!! Good luck with that! I’ll have to look for that pattern, but maybe de-evolve it into a Pichu…my daughter is a pichu girl. I like the owl.

Haha thanks for the encouragement! I certainly need it seeing as I have NO IDEA of how to use a sewing machine- in fact I just broke my first needle! XDDD
All the pika evolutions are adorable! my fav is Raichu, :3 And actually the Owl one is the one that sparked the pikachu idea, :P
The pattern is by Kwik Sew no. 3687, :D
