I made this costume for Mardi Gras. I had to change the neck ruffle as it didn’t have the wave effect I wanted. I also made 2 extra pompoms that I fixed on a pair of trainers.
white cotton, white tulle net, black satin bias, black wool for the pompoms (and LOADS of white face paint and a black eyeliner to draw a tear on the cheek)
Simplicity pattern 9800, the only one I found with a Pierrot costume! (even better, in the same pattern, there is also a clown and Arlequin)

I have just found this on Burda style, Looking for inspiration for a Pierrot costume for a fancy dress party. I’m just deciding weather to tackle sleeves or arm holes for comfort. This is great and I love the ruff!

I love this esp in all white. It’s festive, but doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.
