I bought the black piddle pad but I wanted something more for a girl so I came up with my own pattern and my own piddle pad for my granddaughter. I wanted her to have it for her carseat for those “blowouts” that newborns are famous for. It will also be helpful for when she will be potty training. I used a plastic with flannel back table cloth along with cotton gingham and a slip proof backing so it stays put. I thought it turned out as nice as the purchased one. Best of all, it looked sweet for my newest granddaughter.

Please please upload a how to or the pattern traced from the store pad. This is a fantastic creation that’s both pretty and practical.

I think it’s much nicer than the purchased one! What a great idea – I wish I’d had one of these when my kids were newborns.

What a great idea. I havnt heard of these before. Something like this would be great for my bub – she is always having explosions down her leg and I am forever cleaning her carseat!!! Yours is really cute.
