The fabric for this top is from a vintage x-tra large pillow case I had been hoarding for a long time. I found a cool pattern while thrifting and decided to go ahead and finally use the pillow case. The pattern is 5636 Butterick See and Sew from 1987. The pattern is really for a dress, but I didn’t have enough fabric for that. So I only used the top portion then added the peplum from the Burda Style Handbook Blouse.
