Ceil Chapman design distributed by Spadea Patterns. Woman’s gown with petal over-bust and full skirt with scalloped detailing.
I adore this pattern. However, my silk cocktail gown is not an everyday garment, so I decided to make myself a skirt version so I could enjoy those scalloped edges more often. I originally thought that a light-weight wool would make a nice and cozy winter skirt. However, the weather changed and I had the perfect excuse to use a novelty print.
And I still have plans to make myself a winterized version of this skirt when I find the perfect fabric!
More pictures and information about my construction process may be found over on my blog, Lilacs & Lace.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
