I found this ah-mazing 50’s/early 60’s (undated, Simplicity 4986) pattern in Goodwill, which was unfortunately in a $6 bag full of hideous 90s patterns XD. It was a size too small, but being a wrap dress, worked out perfectly! (I’ll admit, instead of facing the armholes and hemming the bottom, I serged them. But, shhh.)
I really wanted to find a pretty floral print, but settled for this out of impatience… we just don’t have good fabric stores in this tiny state. The pattern was a dream to follow, and I will definitely be making it again, once I find the perfect fabric.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
