Description

The softshell version of this jacket, and this time pink enough…
I excluded the pocket-zippers in the test version, but not for this one. The 2 changes I made (compared to the original pattern from Farbenmix): lengthened the jacket with 1cm and lined the hood.

For me, this was the first time working with softshell, and at times it was very frustrating not to be able to use pins (or at least as little as possible). Clips did help keeping the pieces in place, but, for me, they are not an ideal solution.

I am so proud of this piece of work. Every time I see it I find it hard to believe I made it myself.

This one looks even better than the trial. Looks very professional indeed :)

The pattern is great and it is just perfect how it turned out. The little girl loves it. It’s just so cute on her and it is the first jacket she is able to zipper up herself.
