Step 3 Time to Sew
Time to sew:
Open pressed edges up flat and line up side edges of skirt, with right sides together. Sew side seam(s) to make a circle.
Fold pressed edges back in place.
Sew around the bottom edge of the top pressed area (wrong side) to form a casing for the elastic. Leave 1-2" opening near the back to insert the elastic.
Sew around the top edge of the bottom pressed area to form the hem. Or attach the ruffle trim.
