Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This project is based on the Pete tshirt. I used a white lace and dyed it with tea to give it a vintage feel. My sister paired it with a striped tee underneath. I love the way she styled it!

i love that tea idea!! but when you wash it, wouldnt the tea come out or just fade?

no, it actually works quite well because the fabric absorbs most of the tea. some of it washes out, but it still leaves a nice antique color.

dying fabric with tea is very simple. just brew a good amount of black tea, and soak your fabric until it’s as dark as you want it. hope this helps!
