Well, not really pedal pusher length more like capri’s but I couldn’t resist the name.
These are a pair of pants I drafted myself. I love all of the floral skinny jeans around at the moment and thought I could make a pair easily enough. However it has been quite a challenge to say the least.
I followed some lessons on fitting from Sandra Betzina at Craftsy http://www.craftsy.com/classes/sewing. This helped alot and I can see where I need to make more alterations.
I made a mock up pair to start and then transferred the alterations onto my pattern. They still need alot of tweaking so luckily this fabric was cheap.
I have some gorgeous fabric from Tessuti which I will try next. Hopefully I can get them just right.
Cotton with 5% elastane.

I love those pants! SO cute! once I go back to my regular weight I’m going to try and sew up Colette’s Clover pants. I’m totally going to use yours as inspiration!

These pants are lovely Annie. The fabric may have been cheap but they certainly don’t look like cheap pants. I have been making pants today and they need a little tweaking too, so I will try again tomorrow. My fabric was from Spotlight, so I won’t be devastated if they fail!

thankyou, I just saw all of your projects. You have been super busy! My fabric was from Spotlight. I think I paid $10 all up! I’ve never made fitted pants before so lots of learning for me.

Well Annie, you are doing well and I am sure you will master them. Once you have the right fit, pants are quick and easy to sew up.
