Black A-line (?!) dress with white ‘petal’ or scalloped collar. I stole the design from Hobbs.
I used the Zoe pattern as a base and changed it into a one piece on the front and back, The collar in the original is actually detachable, so I had alot of pfaff trying to sew it in with the facing. I got quite lazy with the scalloping – lesson learned, never be lazu when doing scallop edges! and also somewhat lazy with the running stitch detail, but I like to think it makes it less formal that way.
Synthetic fibres, one long zip, embroidery thread.

This is really really cool. How difficult was it to change the pattern?

I always found the Zoe dress a little boring, but this collar totally spices it up! It frames your face so well! Fantastic job all around!

This is such a sweet dress. I also recently altered Zoe to make a one piece dress, but I really love how you individualized it with the petal collar. Very nice.
