Pattern: A2 from Japanese sewing book, Feminine Wardrobe by Jinko Matsumoto.
Fabric: Pink Vichy square 100% cotton from Ikea.
The blouse/tunic is made with three front bodice pieces and three back bodice pieces. It has front and back facings and unattached big bow. After a couple of unsuccessful projects, in which I still have to work on, and some frustration, sewing this garment was the greatest pleasure. It was a straightforward and easy project to make. Also the fabric really helped since it was easy to manipulate and therefore it sew up very smoothly. I’m more than happy with the result since the blouse looks great not only in the outside but also in the inside. What I like the most is the big bow, I believe it gives the blouse a chic touch.
110 × 370 cm cotton fabric, 90 × 60 cm fusible interfacing, 2 small buttons
