George Town, Cay...
I’m still very new to sewing and fitting is my biggest issue. I cut the size according to the pattern envelope and its always huge! Sigh. So this time I tried to make a pencil skirt sloper pattern so that I would never need to make fit adjustments again – at least to this skirt.
It turned out amazing! I’ve never had a skirt fit me so well. I’m delighted.
Do drop over to my blog to find out more about this project. There is even a download so you can enter your measurements and the pattern lengths will be calculated for you.
Follow through the instructions section for the download link to to pattern calculator and the step by step tutorial for how to make your own sloper.
Thick satin from the remnant section. But now I know it works – I’ll be making LOTS more of these.
