Sorry. That was terrible. Anyway, I finally got in on all this peplum action with a fusion of two patterns. Lets just say plenty of confusion followed but things worked out pretty well in the end. I used the bodice of Vogue 8280, and the peplum from another pattern which sounds simple enough. Except I decided to line the peplum part because of the flimsy Nani Iro Double gauze and things got complicated! I moved the center back zip around to the side and used an invisible zip instead.
