Peplum jacket from McCalls 5936. I made this about a year ago, but haven’t gotten around to getting pictures til recently. I don’t quite remeber any of the modifications I made, I think I may have lengthened the bodice a bit.
This was my first time attempting a lined jacket, so the lining is a bit messy. Also my top stitching is a bit wonky, but I shouldn’t point out all the mistakes. :P
I decided to give it a lace trim after falling in love with Anthropologie’s lace trim blazer. Although I didn’t take into account the curves of the jacket, so the trim is a bit puckered in some areas.
Overall I really like it :) Looks pretty cute with a pair of jeans and boots :)

This jacket is lovely and I do like the lace trimmed edges; a lovely finish. Well done on making this jacket and I am sure you learnt heaps sewing it.
