I have admired all the peplums posted here and I was determined to make one myself. Finally done! The top is a vintage pattern, I love how the peplum flares. The skirt is a Burda pencil skirt pattern, love the pegged bottom. The top is supposed to button and fits tightly around the neck like a lot of vintage patterns do. I altered the pattern and since I used a lightweight stretch denim I can just pull it over my head. The skirt has an invisible zipper in the back. I have already made a couple more pencil skirts and definitely plan to make more peplums!
