Description

Made from Vogue 8815. I like the balanced proportions of the peplum and bodice. The view that I sewed (view “B”) consists of the front, back with zippered center, front skirt, back skirt, and the sleeves.I decided not to Burda Style’s version due to the raised front seam of the bodice and skirt, which would not be a flattering look for me.

I love this on you heather. the shape and fabric really suit you and its beautifully fimished. You managed to line the back up perfectly. I read your blog and i bet you’d a big smile on your face when you spotted the cat top for $150. I’m the same, i love fran and jane dresses and vivianne hollaway but they’re like £200 each so i make my own. They’re cheaper and fit better. The crop jacket you made previousally is gorgeousvas well. I admire your sewing so much x

Oh, Mary, thank you! Why would we have to pay so much for the “name”? A “M. Athey” creation is worth more simply due to her talent, sense of style, and sew much more. It is always a treat to see you here in Burda Style!
