Description

Beginner pattern from Colette – a boatneck shift dress with various sleeve options. Although this is a beginner pattern many find it hard to fit. I was the same! Blogged about here: http://teafortwodiary.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/colette-peony-what-journey.html.

Material Notes

Such a sweet dress! I think you did a great job fitting a wonky pattern, and you’ve motivated me to try to fix those messed up Peony darts!

I think the pockets work fine with it. The contrasting belt does amazing things. Not making the belt was a great idea. I just got The Colette book and I think I’ll be trying it. It looks amazing on you.

This dress looks lovely, pockets and all! You made it work in the end and that’s what counts.
