This is a Little Pink Pig that I made for an e-friend recently. She’s piggy mad and needed cheering up.
The inspiration for the pig came from the cover of a party box my daughter brought home from birthday. I made up a pattern myself, using the image on the box as a guideline for body and head shape.
The features are hand embroidered. The dress is also hand made for Penelope, but it is less than perfect.
The project took a weekend to make from start to finish, including the dress. Enjoy!
Pink fabric for pig is a fabric remnant left over from some cushions. The dress fabric is a piece of a Laura Ashley FQ that I was sent as part of a swap.
