This coat was made for a friend who is as petite as Christina Ricci and always has trouble finding clothes to fit.
I used a basic vintage McCall’s pattern as a block and worked the pattern details from there.
To be honest it was a nightmare and I’m glad it’s finished, but my friend loves it!
Pure wool gabardine, habotai silk lining, biais binding, assorted vintage buttons
