Teal blue 1940s pinafore from a vintage pattern: Marion Martin #9121. I was inspired to make this after seeing the movie Penelope. In the first scene that you meet Penelope she is wearing a lovely pinafore over a striped long-sleeve knit top.
The dress is originally in 2 pieces but I changed the pattern so it would be one piece.
Blogged here: the fabled needle. (Sorry, ever since I moved URLs, many images from old posts got messed up but the text is still there.)
(I had this project up in my old account, loveliette.)
