Black wool pencil skirt from Vogue pattern 8640. I used the tutorial on the Cupcake Goddess’ blog to adjust the darts and the fit to make sure that it looked and fitted like a proper pencil skirt and not just a sack. I also followed her brilliant tutorial on putting in a back vent rather than a split.
The pattern didn’t include a lining but I drafted a lining and added some racy black lace round the bottom to finish it off!
