Pencil skirt with slanted welt pockets on the front and fly front zipper with no waistband. I gave up on the fly front and moved it to the side. This project took longer than it should have because I was afraid of the welt pockets. Turned out that the fly front on the no waistband that failed me. Beware Burda’s instruction on this pattern. If you are interested in making this skirt, you may find tutorial by Kay The Sewing Lawyer helpful. I can ride my bike wearing this skirt. I think the hem width is in between straight and pencil skirt.
One more thing, can you see the pockets? Maybe I should have saved more time and skipped them completely.
Stretch cotton and tricot lining.
The lines of Greek architecture inspire this neutral and pastel collection.
