I’ve always avoided pencil skirts because they say not to wear them if you’re a pear shape (meaning you got some hips). Bored with my usual A-line dresses, I ventured out to find a pencil skirt pattern that could work for me. Vogue 8697, I think you worked your charm! It has a high waist and princess seams, and all the seaming details are flattering and interesting. I’m a fan.
