My first self drafted skirt! It’s an Anthropologie-inspired piece. Shaped yoke, vintage button detail, scratchy wool, fully lined, gathered right seam, cascading ruffle in seam over left leg, invisible zip. I also tried to curve the bottom seam to make it seem softer.

I totally went for it. And I’m kind of sad because I just scrapped together the lining and it turned out so well that I wish I had put pretty lining in:( Maybe next time!

Gorgeous! I would love to have this pattern. Did you make one or draft it without making a pattern?

I drafted one and have it forever! However, I do need to alter it a little—I had to take one side in by 2 inches!

Architectural and delightfully unexpected, all at the same time!
Great mix of lines and curves – a traffic stopper for sure.
Can’t wait to see your second, third, and future creations.
