Description

I had long been dying for this dress that looks “Peggy Olson” in the series “Mad Men”. So I decided that I wanted it now! I still got some pictures of episode 10 in season 2 and visualized all the details of this dress to make a replica of it. I drew the pattern with all the changes necessary to achieve the exact look, but I was searching the web a long time to perfect it, I had in mind to find thin wool, but this could not be, however, I found a mixture poly-cotton, perfect for use in the climate of the island where I live. Although there is one thing that has intrigued me why the original dress plaids are NOT matching … I do not find the solution, first I thought it would be impossible to achieve with the pieces of the pattern, but when I got to do matching plaids on my dress, then I’m a bit clueless with this issue. I’m really excited about this dress, have a replica of this beautiful dress that appears in Mad Men makes me very happy!

    I do agree, I love “mad Man” I miss most of the episodes due to work,, but I try and catch up on I-player,, i think they came out on dvd,
