I made this for my mother’s birthday. The collar necklace trend is really growing on me and I love any excuse to make something beautiful! I had just made myself an oxford shirt using a Burda pattern so I just used the collar pieces from that, and hand stitched the faux and freshwater pearl beads on afterwards.
It’s also reversible, with a button sewn to either side of the collar. This project is great for using up scraps and would have been super quick but for the sewing on the pearls.

Based on a DIY post here
Polyester satin and crafting cotton, both just scraps that I had lying around, plastic and preshwater pearls and a couple of shirt buttons.
