Peacock and various feather fascinator. I made this very quickly before going out to a semi formal holiday party. It looks better on my own hair, which is dark.

I just used a normal hair clip. The kind that’s slightly curved and you bend it to open/close it. The clip is sewn to one side of a tear-drop piece of felt, the feathers and such are sewn/glued to the other side.

Thank you! It was all fairly simple. For the flower I had a strip of satin – already stitched and turned, but un-used for the belt on the Heidi dress. Basically, I folded and pressed and folded and pressed until I got the size and shape that I wanted. I was holding it down with my thumb the entire time. When finished pressing, I tacked down any points that needed it with needle and thread, and added beads where I wanted on top.
