Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This little dress was a birthday present to my lovely friend Noora. Her birthday was quite a while ago, but it took us quite long to finish the whole process from designing to the final dress. But here it finally is! Noora designed the dress and her biggest ispiration was 60’s dresses (she’s a huge Pattie Boyd fan:) ) and I think that the desing suits her very well! We decided to use buckram for the whole skirt, because we wanted the skirt actually be A-line. I think it turned out pretty well as it gives little support but doesn’t look stiff. The pockets are fake-pockets.
I’m very happy with the result, but the best reward is that she loves it too and looks incredibly pretty in the dress:)
Material Notes
Some synthetic-fibre fabric (the lady at the fabricstore couldn’t tell..), lining, zipper, cotton, buckram

The finishing and details are very nicely done, such a clean lines. The brown polkadots go very well with salmon pink :)
