Description

This is my second entry for the Made By Rae – Spring Top Week.

I used the same pattern as the Chesire Cat Stripes top which is Burda WOF 04-2009-112. This time though I only had a 2 way stretch material (and not much stretch at that). And I’ve added some more sleeve length than what I had on the Chesire, but still a few cm’s shy of the pattern requirements. The embellishment is Anthropology inspired, and simply uses the scrap lengths sewed on freestyle. My 2yo says it looks like a turtle, but I can’t see it, I obviously don’t have her imagination :-)

Cheers I wanted a basic top, but didn’t want it too plain and boring.
