San Pedro De Mon...
When I designed this dress, we started out choosing the fabric, and the lovely colors that we used here, so….this is a 3 piece dress, made in pure silk. The skirt is made in 3 layers of silk chiffon, with a border made of ribbons in charmeusse, and all hand finish. There is a strapless body under the organza off the shoulder blouse. The strapless bodice is made in 4 ply silk, same color as the skirt wich is the medium peach color. For the blouse, I choose an organza also in the medium color of the peach. Worked the “funny” roads in color soft beige, and border all the blouse with the medium peach color and the soft beige. After, well….I had so much fun making lots of funny square flowers, and other kinds, but….the most fun, was to put the all over!!! I also hand embroidered sequences in different sizes and contrasting shades…..similar colors do. As you can see, there is a big piece of chiffon hanging over one side. The bride was so happy!!! and I was too, and also very thankfull to Our Lord, to guide my hands……..all the way!!!! For rainforest finishings, please follow me to: Rainforestcouture
