I love the simplicity! It’s the perfect outfit when you want to feel classic and preppy but at the same time unique. I also love it when you can tell there’s a lot of work behind a garment although it’s so basic. When not a single dart or button hole is accidental but carefully thought through. For example, the placement of the pockets and that one covered button in the side! Maybe I’m a nerd but that’s so inspiring.

Thank you so much! I know exactly what you mean, it feels great to wear a garment that you have made with big effort. It gives some kind of satisfaction to make those little details and know they are there even though nobody else notices.

It looks great. Can I ask you now you finished the seam allowance around the armhole? I am currently battling with flat felled seams but with a 1cm s/a they are a mega bitch. Good work.

Thank you! I first simply sew the seams with sewing machine and then trimmed the seam-allowances to ca 0,5 cm with serger. I have done flat felled seams only to straight seams and I imagine that curvy ones can be very tricky, hope you beat them:)

This is a really cute outfit! I especially love the peach collar blouse – it’s so sweet looking! You did a great job with fit too, I find that to be tricky with buttoned and collared blouses. Love it! :-)

I love this outfit and the way you made the two simple things more “you”. You look great in them too :)
