Description

Hello everybody,
this is my brand new outfit – consisting of:
- Alpaca short jacket in pea coat cut
- jogger pants
- a medal brooch

All self-made.
The pants are based on a pattern from the Burda Easy magazine fall/winter 2016, and the jacket is the cropped pea coat #118 Burda 10/2016.
I saw an outfit with medal brooches in Burda 11/2016 that inspired me for making a medal brooch myself, I used grosgrain ribbon, bias tape and an earing-pendant for this.
More about this in my sewing and fashion blog for women 50 up

Bye Philo

Gorgeous outfit and you have styled this perfectly. I love the jacket as the fabrics lovely. The trousers I never looked at in the magazine but I certainly will now. The brooch is a fab finishing touch and reminds me of one’s I had in the 80’s .You are bang on trend with the retro look.love everything xx

Hi Mary! Yes it’s a retro look but I think with a pair of jeans this jacket will look different. I gave the trousers-pattern a chance but wasn’t sure if I would like the cut, but I do! It is very comfy. Bye, Philo
