A dress I made to fit my white boots ; )
I wanted a simple 60s style dress and had this fabric left from some years ago. Found the pattern on m-sewing. For alterations: I omitted the sleeves and the loops for the belt, I made the zipper go all the way down the front. The collar was rather irksome at first, but once I got around it (using bias cut tape or whatever it is called) it became easy.
It’s my first really wearable project I made all by myself and I love it! Also, I learned quite a bit about sewing (thank you BurdaStyle and other sewing-related websites).

This is g-orgeous. I have tried to get the patterns to print off m-sewing but have been very unsuccessful because I do not see a link for the print. How do you get to it?

It’s not really hidden, but quite hard to see at first (I’ve searched, too): Scroll down to the bottom of the webpage, you’ll see the PDF-image next to the sizes. Clicking on the image will download the pattern (best to save it to your computer). See the link directly above the sizes for the sizing charts, so you’ll know which size to download.
Have fun sewing!

At the m-sewing side you can read: “you need to have Adobe Acrobat (not just acrobat reader)”…! ??

Hmm, weird. Since I do have Adobe Acrobat (and not just the reader) that problem hadn’t occured to me… I’ll try to find out how it works anyway.

Ok I have dwnld Adobe Acrobat. I see some links not all of them though. Underneath the sizing chart is suppose to be the s, m, and l PDF links. For some of them it says no download available for this pattern. The one I am talking about in particular is #5323 Skirt with flared inserts.

Very cute! I’m really impressed with how well the pattern lines up on either side of the zipper, especially since it’s your first wearable project. Great job!
