Based on the Lace Collar Top(08/2012), I made this top without the lace collar, the colours of the fabric were bold enough for me without a collar attached. I tried to make the pattern completely symmetrical(failed in the back part of the peplum).
The fabric I used is from Dries van Noten, from an older collection. The fabric is a kind of cotton, not stretchy at all, so the zipper(invisible zipper in the back)is around 55 cm long.
The pattern was easy to use, no difficulties in this pattern. I might try to make the same one in a longer dress version soon!

I know right? The colours are so bright, I love it. I found it at the Dries van Noten stocksale, in his atelier in Antwerp. At most stocksales designers give their leftover fabrics away for a good price, it’s great for finding rare fabrics.

Project Runway is in your future most certainly, just because you seem to have an eye for matching fabric to an appropriate pattern. Lovely.

Great job. Looks perfect on you. What size did you use? Did you have to alter the armhole?
