After seeing BStyle member Iroiro’s magnificent dress from the Japanese book Pattern Magic, I was convinced to take on the challenge. Creating the pattern from the illustrations wasn’t too difficult so hope to approach a few more patterns from this amazing book. For this dress I added pintucks at the front bodice along with self covered buttons with loop enclosures, cap sleeves and a ruffled skirt with pockets. I also lined the bodice. It’s a lovely dress which I’ve also made in a lightweight linen, will get a lot of wear this season.
