Description

My first project from the book Pattern Magic 2. Wearing A Square is pure origami. Crazy looking to start with, I put a very long zipper in the front and elongated the sleeves.

Reverse garbage is the best place! Never know what you might find – it’s a real treasure trove. Fab jacket.

I don’t know where urbandon found his but I have gotten really long ones like this at outdoor supply places where you can find supplies for tents and such.

I live near an amazing shop called Reverse Garbage in Sydney- all industrial waste, offcuts of paper, plastic sheeting, fabric remnants….the best shop in Sydney.

I have given up on thrift shops selling small old zips for two dollars and fabric remnants for five dollars.

The headless one reminds me of Maggie Simpson in her snowsuit! Cool jacket.

I like it! In the zipped up head one you look like a crazy swamp beast from a 50’s B Movie.

I love those books, they just have so many good ideas, not tried many of them out yet so it’s good to see some examples

I love your interpretation of this pattern. Looks like it could be worn upside down too!

Wow. I know which example in the book you used – this is the best interpretation I could imagine, definitely the very best I have seen so far. Absolutely cool.

I agree with alivia: it’s very cool. Right between geometrical shape experiment and weareble garment. I (also) have really wanted this book for a while, and now even more so.
