i’ve done this blouse for my Mum following the instructions of PATTERN MAGIC…
The fabric comes from a bolt a friend of Mum found in her attic (probably from the 70’s).
Blogged in various posts, including:

I’m going to attempt this one from Pattern Magic next, I like what you did with it and I did a similar thing on the Jungle design by adding fabric to the bottom of the design – yours looks heaps better than mine! And I like the sleeves too! Well done!

oh, thank you!!
being sincere, i’ve taken a lot of inspiration from some bloggers who are better seamtresses than me: http://handmadebycarolyn.blogspot.it/2011/11/bamboo-shoot.html http://onlythesmall.blogspot.nl/2013/02/ppm-2-bamboo-shoot-dress.html http://www.sew2pro.com/tag/pattern-magic/
On my blog, i’ve written some advices. maybe, it could not be simple to read because it’s in italian but… if you need an help – considering my poor ability- i’ll be happy to answer your questions!
