I found this patterned fabric at AKN Fabrics in Manhattan (http://www.aknfabrics.com/). I’m not great at creating patterns, but I basically used a tank top I had to make a very simple tank dress pattern, then I cut it open in the front to sew in the patterned fabric. I love this crazy fabric. Unfortunately, the black jersey that I used for the fabric was pretty cheap, and it quickly got pilly. Plus, the dress is also a little short. For this reason, even though it’s really comfortable, I don’t wear it very often.
